So much to say... So little time

Yup I have a lot to say, Do I have time to say it? Probably not. Because all I do is work these day. I live, eat, breathe, work. Some days are better than others. I hardly ever get to read blogs I follow, I barely get to read my new kindle. I never get to cross stitch. The nights i don't have Ryan which I consider me time, I spend working. So I can spend time with him on the other nights. Which lets face it the poor kid gets picked up at 5:45 we make it home by 6. He eats plays for a little bit gets in the shower at 7:30 we read a book and lights out at 8. Some people might think I am crazy that I put him in bed that early but trust me he needs it. If its a little later than that he gets very emotional and is struggling to stay awake. Anyways with all that said, There will be a first day of school post coming soon. He loves school by the way. He even like before and after care because he gets to be with the big kids to. So Stay tuned. hopefully I will get to the post this weekend. Oh and Ryan got a black eye at school yesterday. No big deal, he was a trooper and it doesn't look to bad.

It's happening....

I thought this day would never come. I never really wanted it to and yet I did. My baby is growing up. He is 6 and he is starting Kindergarten on Thursday. As I write this blog I am starring at the screen through the pools of tears gathering in my eyes. I think of all the thing Ryan and I have been through and I rejoice, he is my buddy, my number 1 fan and my biggest supporter and I am his. He is so excited, he has been waiting for this the whole year and it has finally come. I on the other hand have been dreading it all year. Even though Ryan goes to daycare and I have dealt with leaving him everyday, it is still different. It's a milestone in his life. Most people think of it has his first, but with the first comes the last. Wednesday will be his last day of daycare full time, it will be his last time to walk down the halls that he has been at for the past year and a half, the halls where I know the teachers that love my child. He is no longer considered a preschooler, he has arrived to a full fledged school ager. That brings me to tears.

I labeled the school supplies tonight, loaded them into the backpack. We bought the teacher a gift for meet the teacher day. It's ready and waiting.  We have the school uniform, the new shoes, the awesome lunch pail. Even the first day of school breakfast bought. All that's left are the tears, the pictures, and the prayers.

So here we go... It's going to be a wild ride, the beginning of the end. My baby's journey to manhood. I know he will make this mama proud.
